The Valve Overdrive has four controls; drive, tone master volume
and mode. The mode control switches between normal and deep settings.. Comes with Aussie 18v power supply..
These pedals have been developed for the discerning
guitarist determined to lay down the gutsiest of tones while on the road
or in the studio, blow away the competition and play their heart out
with confidence in a product that has been created with tone rather than
electronic wizardry in mind. The grunt mainly comes from the on-board 12AX7 valve, which is why the pedals need the 18v power supply;
this is not your usual, run of the mill PP9 battery technology as seen
in smoke alarms and other 'valve' offerings
Given
that Hiwatt have built their reputation over the last fourty years or
so on their sound and reliability, you can expect these pedals to ooze
