The Broadcast is a transformer-coupled, discrete Class-A germanium circuit, that takes its inspiration from classic recording consoles of the 1960s. The unique way in which the circuit saturates and colours your signal can be used to produce biting clean boosts, subtly coloured and thickened signals with a frayed-at-the-edge quality or – when pushed – an individual sounding overdrive with a fuzzy, fried  texture.

The BC-DUAL-24V has an internal voltage boost circuit that increases the 9 volts coming in from the power supply up to 24 volts. The increased voltage gives extra headroom and a tighter low end – fantastic if you are looking for a little less saturation and grit, but without losing that unique sound of the Broadcast. On the BC-DUAL-24V we have made the gain mode (LOW or HIGH) selectable via the right hand foot switch (the blue LED indicates when the pedal is in HIGH gain mode) as well as giving each mode its own LEVEL control. In addition, the BC-DUAL-24V has two internal trimmers that allows you to fine tune the amount of gain each mode has.

POWER – The Broadcast requires a DC power supply unit (PSU). Please ensure your PSU can supply 9v, a minimum current of 50mA and has a 2.1mm negative centre barrel plug. Any other type may damage your pedal. If you plan on sharing the same PSU with other pedals, we recommend using a PSU with isolated outputs.

IMPORTANT!

THIS VERSION OF THE BROADCAST CONTAINS A VOLTAGE BOOSTER TO INCREASE THE VOLTAGE OF THE POWER SUPPLY UNIT FROM 9V UP TO 24V. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RUN THIS PEDAL AT  POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGES HIGHER THAN 9.6VDC AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE PEDAL AND VOID ITS WARRANTY!

LEFT FOOT SWITCH – Bypasses the pedal (red LED indicates the pedal is active)

RIGHT FOOT SWITCH – Toggles between LOW and HIGH gain modes (Green LED indicates HIGH gain mode is selected)

LEVEL LOW – Controls the volume of the pedal in LOW gain mode

LEVEL HIGH – Controls the volume of the pedal in HIGH gain mode

GAIN TRIM – Controls the gain level (both in LOW and HIGH gain modes) of the Broadcast (at higher settings the high-end of the signal is gently rolled off)

LOW CUT – Attenuates the low-end of the Broadcast (since this control lies at the front
end of the Broadcast’s circuitry, it is interactive with the gain controls)

INTERNAL TRIMMERS – Sets the gain range for each mode. The LOW gain mode is located to the left and the HIGH to the right.

Warranty & Returns

All New products are covered by the manufacturers new warranty. Please check their website for the length of warranty and warranty conditions. If an item you receive is faulty get in touch with us ASAP. Second Hand products come with a 4 week warranty from us. If there is an issue let us know ASAP! This covers normal use and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, wrong power plugged into it, modding, water damage or any other damage caused by mistreatment. Just treat it nice and all will be good!

Shipping

We send A LOT of packages every week so don't worry about the shipping side of things!

We've never lost a thing and your awesome new gear will be packed up really well to avoid any damage in transit.

If your order comes in before 2pm we will ship it same day. Most of the time we pack things up all the way to 4pm so just call if you need it to leave same day after 2pm.

We ship mainly with Australia Post but may use a courier depending on location and size of the package.

Free Post ships with Australia Post standard and expected shipping times are between 4-6 business days depending on location. It will be longer to outside of metro and rural areas.

Express Post will usually be with you next business day in metro areas of QLD, NSW, SA, VIC and TAS. WA will take 2 days to metro and extra days after that to out side metro and rural areas.

Everything we ship has a tracking number with the exception of some power cables and smaller envelope packages. You will be emailed tracking once your order has been shipped!
