This Underground 30 features Tony's Custom 3 Knob Tube Reverb System built in. This is the lushest, most spacious reverb system and has separate controls for reverb tone, reverb mix and reverb dwell. The tonal quality and flexibility of this reverb will astound you.
The Underground 30 features 36 watts of class A power from 4-EL84s, 3-12AX7s, and a GZ34 rectifier. Reverb models include 1 additional 12AX7s and 1 EL84 for the tube driven reverb circuit. The cabinet is constructed of solid pine for its sweet brightness and then fine tuned with a birch ply baffle for superb resonance. Finger-jointed construction is used just like the finest furniture which provides a very strong, extremely rigid, rattle free cabinet that will last a lifetime. Other features include premium tolex coverings, padded handles, heavy duty feet, stainless steel screws/bolts and chromed steel corners. Standard finishes are black, brown, dark green, red or cream with an Art Deco style control panel and aged Ivory "chicken head" knobs. It comes as a head, 1X12, and 2X12 combos.
The Underground 30 was the solid winner in Guitar Player Magazine's Feb. 97 shootout of 23 boutique guitar amps. It was also awarded Guitar Player Magazine's highly coveted The Year's best Gear award for 1997 in their Nov. 97 issue. Guitar World Magazine loved the Underground 30 and wrote an excellent review in their June 1995 issue.
The cabinet features two Celestion Blue Alnico 12” speakers. These are regarded by many as the greatest guitar speakers ever made – producing a clear, warm, almost ‘acoustic’ tone. Not in anyway fatiguing to the listener like many speakers can be. Originally appearing in the Vox AC30, the alnico blues are the go-to speaker for many of the top Nashville session guitarists. At a rating of 15 watts, the light, efficient construction of the voice coil and cone bring the most out of lower wattage amplifiers, offering loads of volume and articulation. These speakers are a joy to play through.
This amp is ‘like new’ with no marks on the sleek black tolex. This is a classy looking amp and will certainly draw compliments wherever it is seen or heard.

If an item you receive is faulty get in touch with us ASAP. Second Hand products come with a 4 week warranty from us. If there is an issue let us know ASAP! This covers normal use and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, wrong power plugged into it, modding, water damage or any other damage caused by mistreatment. Just treat it nice and all will be good!

We send A LOT of packages every week so don't worry about the shipping side of things!
We've never lost a thing and your awesome new gear will be packed up really well to avoid any damage in transit.
If your order comes in before 2pm we will ship it same day. Most of the time we pack things up all the way to 4pm so just call if you need it to leave same day after 2pm.
We ship mainly with Australia Post but may use a courier depending on location and size of the package.
Free Post ships with Australia Post standard and expected shipping times are between 4-6 business days depending on location. It will be longer to outside of metro and rural areas.
Express Post will usually be with you next business day in metro areas of QLD, NSW, SA, VIC and TAS. WA will take 2 days to metro and extra days after that to out side metro and rural areas.
