The Red-Eye is an all analog, handmade, high input impedance DI and clean boost.  Designed and improved over the course of several years to meet the needs of performing musicians, the Red-Eye is crafted from the highest quality components available.  Engineered by an electronics engineer with over 50 years of professional experience, the Red-Eye design focuses on high fidelity, low noise and simple plug and play performance.  This no frills precision approach to amplification offers a truly satisfying experience for musicians and their audience.

Features
- Input: high-impedance, 1 million ohms, maximum 1 volt peak-to-peak level.
- Low-impedance, balanced, XLR output, 600 ohms, will drive long cables to a mix-board.
- Boost button with volume control for amplifying solos.
- Treble control to boost or reduce treble.
- Long 9-volt battery life (~200 hours).
- Automatically uses XLR Phantom Power, when available, instead of the battery.
- Plugging an instrument in or connecting XLR phantom power turns the Red-Eye on.
- Automatic power check: LED Light flashes for 1 second if power is good when preamp is powered up.
- When powered up on the battery (without XLR Phantom Power) the battery gets tested
and the flash indicates the battery is in the first ¾ of its life.
- When the signal is only plugged in the 'Effects Loop Input' instead of 'Instrument Input', Red-Eye can also be used as a high-quality Passive DI. The isolation transformer used in the Red-Eye Preamp has a great linear response.
- ¼ inch output and input for accessory loop, suitable for stomp-tuners or effects boxes
or for output to on-stage guitar amps or PAs.
- Internal filtering to reject radio-frequency interference from neon lights and cell phones.

Pedal switch has lost top and been modified to accept 9v in the battery snap as per photos. Price reflects the damage and 'modification'.

All New products are covered by the manufacturers new warranty. Please check their website for the length of warranty and warranty conditions. If an item you receive is faulty get in touch with us ASAP. Second Hand products come with a 4 week warranty from us. If there is an issue let us know ASAP! This covers normal use and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, wrong power plugged into it, modding, water damage or any other damage caused by mistreatment. Just treat it nice and all will be good!

Shipping

We send A LOT of packages every week so don't worry about the shipping side of things!

We've never lost a thing and your awesome new gear will be packed up really well to avoid any damage in transit.

If your order comes in before 2pm we will ship it same day. Most of the time we pack things up all the way to 4pm so just call if you need it to leave same day after 2pm.

We ship mainly with Australia Post but may use a courier depending on location and size of the package.

Free Post ships with Australia Post standard and expected shipping times are between 4-6 business days depending on location. It will be longer to outside of metro and rural areas.

Express Post will usually be with you next business day in metro areas of QLD, NSW, SA, VIC and TAS. WA will take 2 days to metro and extra days after that to out side metro and rural areas.

Everything we ship has a tracking number with the exception of some power cables and smaller envelope packages. You will be emailed tracking once your order has been shipped!
