Operating as a record label since 2016 we have always put out music we love, with the hope that others will enjoy it too. The artists we release tend to favour an esoteric means of recording and composing music. Listen back through our catalogue and you’ll hear all manner of weird and wonderful sounds and structures. This open and exploratory approach to music creation is at the core of what lead us to create Love Beams.

We did not attend school for electrical engineering - we are simply fans of music who believe the best music, the best sounds even, are arrived at through the joy of experimentation. In the pursuit of writing and recording music with a DIY mentality we have slowly developed some of the skills required to fix and maintain a range of vintage instruments and effects processing units - anybody who pursues electronic music passionately can likely relate to the seesaw state between joy and frustration that can come from misbehaving gear. Eventually, while searching for a simple to operate, yet feature-rich effect pedal that truly captured some of the sounds in our imagination, we decided it was time to apply this skill set to the design process. Love Beams is the result, we hope you like it as much as we do, may it inspire many hours of creation.
