Lichtlaerm Audio - Total Distortion Worship MKII

After the limited run of the Total Distortion Worship sold out in no time, we worked on the production version (aka MkII) for almost a year... and it’s finally here!

We added more gain, expanded the low-end range and replaced the boost with a simplified version of our King in Yellow overdrive. On top of that, we added a focus knob that gives you full control over the mid range, and you can take it all the way into nasty chainsaw territory.

The Total Distortion Worship is a collaboration between Cult FX & Lichtlaerm Audio and the result of an obsessive tone chasing journey in search of the ultimate Extreme Metal distortion.

It features:

1) A completely unique distortion circuit

The TDW forges a nasty, yet versatile distortion with a highly distinctive character. whether you're playing crushing doom, vicious black metal or anything in between - the TDW will deliver!

2) Built-in overdrive

The integrated, foot-switchable overdrive circuit is based on the King in Yellow and comes with an additional internal trim pot for gain control.

3) Active 5 band EQ

Our fader EQ offers +/- 12db range per band for extensive tone shaping. We placed it after the distortion circuit for maximum impact.

4) Focus knob for mid range

Want even more control over your mid range? As part of the overdrive, the focus knob gives you full access over the most important frequency range of your tone! From modern bite to borderline chainsaw aggression, you’re 100% covered.

5) Cut knob for tightness control

A Lichtlaerm Audio staple is the cut knob, which gives you full control over the structure and tightness of your distortion. Blend to taste from massive sludgy drone, all the way to razor sharp attack with unmatched string separation, down to the lowest of tunings.

6) Studio grade noise gate

The integrated noise gate delivers the same studio grade performance as the legendary lichtlaerm The Key and The Gate. It is fully adjustable to work in perfect symbiosis with any level of sonic terror you create with the TDW.

7) Made in Germany

The TDW is made to extremely high quality standards by Lichtlaerm Audio in Berlin, Germany.

Warranty & Returns

All New products are covered by the manufacturers new warranty. Please check their website for the length of warranty and warranty conditions. If an item you receive is faulty get in touch with us ASAP. Second Hand products come with a 4 week warranty from us. If there is an issue let us know ASAP! This covers normal use and does not cover accidental damage, misuse, wrong power plugged into it, modding, water damage or any other damage caused by mistreatment. Just treat it nice and all will be good!

Shipping

We send A LOT of packages every week so don't worry about the shipping side of things!

We've never lost a thing and your awesome new gear will be packed up really well to avoid any damage in transit.

If your order comes in before 2pm we will ship it same day. Most of the time we pack things up all the way to 4pm so just call if you need it to leave same day after 2pm.

We ship mainly with Australia Post but may use a courier depending on location and size of the package.

Free Post ships with Australia Post standard and expected shipping times are between 4-6 business days depending on location. It will be longer to outside of metro and rural areas.

Express Post will usually be with you next business day in metro areas of QLD, NSW, SA, VIC and TAS. WA will take 2 days to metro and extra days after that to out side metro and rural areas.

Everything we ship has a tracking number with the exception of some power cables and smaller envelope packages. You will be emailed tracking once your order has been shipped!
